Founded on the Biblical foundation of God’s uncompromisable and infallible Word, the Holy Bible, we stand on the “Solid Rock”, which is Jesus Christ. For over a century, FBC Christine has devoutly loved and served the community in various ways being the “hands and the feet of Jesus”.

Meet the Pastor
Pastor Whick D. Turner is a man of faith who thrives daily in loving the Lord with his whole heart, soul and mind His passionate love for God and others are evident in his walk as he preaches the uncompromisable Word of God Despite being visually and hearing impaired, he fervently declares that he is not defective, but effective for the Kingdom of God, and encourages others to be all that they can be through Christ who is the author and finisher of their faith.
As an author of “On Top of My Mountain,” a worship drummer, prayer warrior, and pastor, his heart-felt desire is that everyone develops a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. With hope Pastor, Whick strives to point everyone towards the ultimate prize of living a victorious Christian life.
Married to his love and devout wife, Yazmina, Pastor Whick models the Biblical stance of marriage. With their only daughter, Priscilla Faith, Pastor Whick and Yazmina stand on the Word of God.

Community Outreach:
At FBC Christine, our desire is to reach the world with the good news of Jesus Christ, but it starts right here in our own community. We believe that we are to be “the hands and feet of Jesus”, and do such with various outreaches. Each summer, Vacation Bible School is an integral staple that brings us all together, along with the Back to School backpack giveaway. Additionally, Community Changers is an annual event that allows the youth and leaders to complete volunteer work throughout the community. These events require all of us to come together and are open to anyone to be a part of. Please contact the church for additional information, to donate and/or volunteer.
